Your camping trip can be hazardous, incomplete, and less fun if you do not have the right kind of camping gear. So if you are a camping enthusiast, you may want to check out some of the newer developments in camping equipment available. As far as camping accessories go, they can enhance your camping experience and make it all the more exciting. If you are a new camper, you need to know exactly what kinds of camping supplies you will need before you go. Not only to ensure your safety, but also to make the trip as enjoyable as possible.

There have been dozens of new technological advancements made in recent years to improve camping equipment and even add new kinds of camping accessories you never imagined before. From items such as, camping stoves, camping lanterns, camp showers, and camping cookware, the types of camping gear that is now being manufactured is pretty amazing.

I was astonished when I found out about the latest, highest technology items that camping merchandise designers have come up with. And camping manufacturers are selling their new lines of items with much success.

The right brands, the right prices and all of the pertinent information you want to know can be found right here on our website. However, ultimately, the decision will be based on what kinds of camping equipment, accessories, and other merchandise suit your personal desires and interest you most. Take into consideration the kinds of equipment you will need based on when and where you will be camping, and have a look at the accessories too.

Of course, you will have to have things like sleeping bags and tents etc—these are the essentials for anyone camping without an RV or camper. If you want to spoil yourself while camping, be as comfortable as possible, and make things especially easy, there are great types of camping equipment and accessories available for you.

Believe it or not, there are now camping accessories such as camping showers being sold, special camping cookware, camping stoves and more. Imagine waking up in the morning while on your camping trip and just hopping into another tent for a warm morning shower—sounds impossible doesn’t it. But this new type of camping merchandise is very popular and, in our opinion, absolutely amazing.

There are, of course, people who prefer to use very little and really experience nature. However, most of us prefer to sleep with our head on a pillow instead of the hard ground. And even those who do not prefer to sleep in a tent or cabin or RV can appreciate portable stoves and grills for taking hikes and having picnics etc.

Try the very best camping equipment for you, and have a more wonderful camping experience this season than you’ve ever had before.

UK Driving Tips

In the UK cars travel on the left-hand side of the road and overtake on the right – but there’s no automatic priority for cars coming from the left. At roundabouts, always give priority to cars coming from the right. At junctions, a broken line indicates that you should wait and give way to traffic on the other road. The Highway Code (from AA and RAC motoring organisations and most bookshops) offers detailed guidance. It is compulsory for drivers and passengers to wear fitted seat belts and for motorcycle drivers and passengers to wear helmets.

Fuel and service stations are at frequent intervals along main roads and in towns and villages. Filling stations on motorways may be as much as 50 miles apart but are open 24 hours, as are some filling stations in populated areas.

Unless street signs show a lower limit, ordinary single carriageway speed limits are 96 km/h (60 mph); the dual carriageways/motorway limit is 112 km/h (70 mph). The normal speed limit in towns and built up areas in 48 km/h (30 mph); although some approaches and freeways in and around populated areas have clearly marked speed limits of 64 km/h (40 mph).

Parking in towns and cities is normally at metered places or paying car parks. Avoid parking on double yellow lines at any time. Many towns and cities offer ‘park and ride’ schemes with frequent buses to get you to and from the shopping and sights.

A visit to Montclair, New Jersey reveals a township that appears to have more in common with New York City than do most other communities in the area. Situated only 12 miles due west of Manhattan, Montclair possesses the heart and rhythm of the Big Apple minus the tall buildings, crowds, and pollution. Let’s take a look at what makes Montclair a truly unique New Jersey community.

With nearly 40,000 residents within its eight square miles, the township vibrates with activity from top to bottom. Picturesque parks dot the town and they are home to some of the finest events, particularly in warm weather months. Residents and visitors to Montclair look forward to attending popular annual celebrations including: May in Montclair – a month long celebration of the arts; the Presby Memorial Iris Garden – containing thousands of iris plants including some that are unique to the park; Art in the Park; and First Night Montclair. Countless other events sponsored by local organizations including those held by the Woman’s Club, the Montclair Art Museum, the Montclair Historical Society, churches, and retail establishments add to Montclair’s universal appeal.

If you are a connoisseur of fine food, Montclair will not disappoint you. On Bellevue Avenue you can find Il Forno, an Italian bakery; the Sushi Hana Japanese Restaurant on North Fullerton; the upscale Twenty Eight Restaurant on Church Street; and numerous bakeries, bagel shops, diners, and sit down restaurants scattered throughout the township.

Montclair is home to several civic organizations as well as houses of worship including Montclair Community Church on Watchung Avenue which recently dedicated their new sanctuary.

Favorite shops in town include bookstores, clothing emporiums, second hand stores, ethnic boutiques, and much more. Nightclubs including Rascals can be found on Bloomfield Avenue; the 12 Miles West Theatre Company and Luna Stage are two of the more notable performing arts groups that call Montclair their home.

Truly, Montclair has something for everyone and easy accessibility makes the township a worthy alternative to a day spent in Manhattan.

Parador Sos del Rey Catolico

Located in the far reaches of Aragon, Spain, the Parador of Sos del Rey Catolico is kind of “in the middle of nowhere.” The result of this is that relatively few tourists ever find their way here to this sleepy little village of less than a thousand inhabitants. When you enter, you’ll feel as if you’ve just stepped back several centuries in time. The village has a distinctly medieval feel.

The Parador Sos is of a typical Aragonese character. The building conserves and fits congruously with the monumental and historical atmosphere of the town of Sos del Rey Católico. Though by looking at it one would never realize – the Parador here is a modern building. Because the whole town has been declared a National Historic Monument, none of the standing buildings could be changed or altered. The government of Spain hired one of the most renowned architects to create a building that would completely blend in with the historical ambience and appearance of the town. He succeeded completely.

The regal and elegant interior offers beautiful views of the town from some of the rooms. There are wooden interior columns and the furniture is predominately of a Castilian style. The bedrooms are spacious, and because each has it’s own balcony with double doors, and large windows – they fill with light. From those windows can be seen the Aragonese and Navarrese foothills of the Pyrenees in the far distance.

The town of Sos del Rey Catolico has been declared a National Monument. It was the birthplace of influential nobles and of the great Catholic King Ferdinand (who married the equally famous Isabella). From the Parador, a few steps takes you directly into the old quarter of the town.

Interesting nearby excursions from Parador Sos del Rey Catolico:

- As stated earlier, the entire town has been declared a National Historic Monument. It’s great to just meander around with out any special agenda. The town is very small and you can’t get lost.

- See the Sada palace.

- Visit the monastery of Nuestra Señora de Valentuñana.

Interesting day trips from the Olite Parador include:

- Javier Castle (19 km)

- Uncastillo (17 km)

- Yesa Reservoir (25 km)

- Leyre Monastery (28 km)

- Valles de Hecho (89 km)

- Roncesvalles (96 km)

Interesting festivals during the year:

- Local summer festivities in Sos during the 2nd two weeks in August.

- Romería Valentuñana (Procession) Easter.

Sos del Rey Catolico is a very special kind of place. This is not your usual tourist destination – it has none of the hustle and bustle, garrish attractions, or fine restaurants and museums of those places. However; the whole town is like a museum and the Parador serves as fine a cuisine as you’ll find in Spain. Sos is one of my personal favorite places in Spain. Come here for the tranquility and the medieval ambience – you’ll add it your list of favorites as well.

China Travel Points

China is a land of ancient wonders. It’s so different from the norm of western travelers that a first visit there can be a bit intimidating. Today, we will become acquainted with some basic traveler information on China. We’ll talk about the time of year to go, when to avoid China and some points of interest.

Times to Go

China can get pretty cold in the winter. For instance, Temperatures in Beijing are average highs of 40F and lows of 14F. In Hong Kong, the temperatures are more bearable—58 F – 75 F. The summers can get a little warm for some, but it’s the best time of the year to visit China. Temperatures can reach 90 F in Beijing and Hong Kong.

When To Avoid China

The worst month to travel in China is February. In early to mid-February, the Chinese hold their Spring Festival—we also know it as Chinese New Year. February is when most Chinese either take a vacation or limit work time. Therefore, the country is crowded with travelers and businesses are closed or operating during limited hours.

The Harbin’s Ice Festival is held in Zhaolin Park. It starts in the beginning of January and runs through the end of February. This ice festival is a spectacle that features huge ice sculptures of legendary figures and animals. It’s held at this time of the year, because the temperatures a freezing. Group Holidays

Well none of us really enjoy anything more than a little bit of relax and the chance to sit back, read our favorite book and take in the beauty that is a well-earned holidays. If only they could last a little longer.

Certainly some people think that the very idea of going on holiday is a waste of time and as a result force themselves to bring along computers, blackberrys, mobile phones etc etc. How many times have you been in a top hotel surrounded by excellent facilities and a myriad of things to do and you see someone in the lobby checking their emails?

Of course new hotels have made it even easier for us to fall for this trap and wifi stations, free internet connections and business centers are sprouting everywhere as an enticer for business travelers and business addicts alike!

Well it is true, that business can rule our life but it is also an accepted truth that we all need some time off, after all if we didn’t take it then life would be very bland indeed. In the US the trend goes towards group travel and to a certain extent I have started to appreciate that more and more.

Firstly, you can spend time with like minded people and even friends or colleagues in a relaxed environment filled with discovery. Secondly, you have the opportunity to be shown around sites and to beat the queues to anything worth seeing and finally you get to know everything worth seeing from specialists who know the place. After all if it were your house it would be silly for anyone but you to show guests around!

Well, there are some obvious draw backs too, like not entirely liking one of your fellow travelers but the chances of that happening are pretty slim, after all if you re on the same trip then you re probably into the same things! After all after a few drinks and a nice meal somewhere gorgeous, I am sure everyone will become your best friend. Then at least you can add to your list of great memories and bring home lots of stories to tell.
