Offices all over the world have started thinking more about their employees so that they deliver better. Apart from a change in the H.R scenario, the meeting venues have also changed. Companies are now opting for luxury hotels to conduct important meetings. The employees spend the whole day discussing workable areas and then the luxury of these luxury hotels pampers them. Experts believe that this luxury hotel factor helps increase their productivity.

Luxury hotels have come way ahead from the panoramic pictures that they used to be in glossy magazines. The main thing that has undergone a sea change with these luxury hotels is the cost factor. Though not cheap, yet a common man can afford to access the goodies offered by these luxury hotels after a bit cost cut from his daily expenses – and it’s worth it. The luxury hotels offer everything that tickle mortal senses. Be it an aromatherapy, or a puff of the traditional hookah, the luxury hotels are equipped to pamper the workaholic.

Today money is flying around us everywhere- thanks to globalization, and those who are smart enough to grab that extra buck coming their way, would not settle for anything less than luxury hotels when it comes to holidaying. In fact a lot of companies choose particular locations just to enjoy the hospitality of particular luxury hotels.

If an organization spends some extra amount while booking luxury hotels for various purposes, it maximizes the returns of the company in the long run. It may be a cost to the company for a short period, but the company gets value for this cost. It boosts the motivation of the employees to work harder and it contributes towards the growth of the company. Such expenditure is just like an investment to the company for the growth of human resources. Moreover, the brand image is very much important for a company. The booking of luxury hotels in stead of budget hotels enhances the standard of an organization.

What to See and Do in Mexico

Mexico is a big and old country. Everyone can find something interesting in this land. Ancient pyramids and temples, big modern megapolises and tropical resorts – it’s all here waiting for you to come.
The trip to Mexico can be started with visit to its capital – Mexico City. It’s the third-largest metropolis in the world. Only Tokyo and New York City are bigger. This expansive city of 20 million and over a mile high is built on the ruins of Tenochtitlan, the ancient Aztec capital. Reminders of past civilization pervade the city, particularly at the Templo Mayor excavation and Anthropological Museum at Chapultepec Park. This very Tenochtitlan was founded in 1325 by Aztecs. Speaking about modern Mexico City, the district called the Zona Rosa is famous for its shops.

One of the must-sees in Mexico are pyramids of Teotihuacan and Chichen Itza. Teotihuacan is located 50 kilometers northeast of Mexico City. Teotihuacan is not only a monumental city, but also a place where the mural paintings allow the visitor to delve into a world of mythical figures of Gods, jaguars, nocturnal beings and liquid skies.
The ruins of Chichen Itza lie about midway between Cancun and Merida, so that the journey from each city takes around 2 or 3 hours via the new autopista. This place was a settlement of Maya tribe. The tribe itself sank into oblivion, but its creature still attracts millions of tourists and hundreds of investigators seeking for their archeological glory.
When you feel tired of ancient ruins and dust roads you can direct your steps to one of the Mexican resorts – Cancun, Puerto-Vallarta or Acapulco.

So, meet Cancun. Very popular resort among US citizens situated on the Yucatan peninsula. The city of Cancun is only 35 years old. This fashionable resort was built on the place of the former fisherman’s village. Cancun is world famous for its beaches, surrounding the whole city.

Puerto Vallarta is nestled between palm-covered mountains, a river and an azure sea. The city is full of cobblestone streets and whitewashed houses. Like Cancun, once it was a fishing village.

One of the most exciting resorts in the world, Acapulco is famous for its explosive nightlife, golden beaches, unlimited watersports, world-class hotels, restaurants and the breathtaking beauty of Acapulco Bay. Acapulco is located on the Pacific coast of Mexico and unlike Puerto Vallarta and Cancun it’s a big city with 2-million population.

Mexico is enjoyable year-round, but October to May is generally the most pleasant time to visit. The May-September period can be hot and humid, particularly in the south, and inland temperatures can approach freezing during December-February.

Timeshares are your chance to secure your vacations at a luxurious resort year after year!

Timeshares, by definition, is a type of ownership of a vacation property. It is a widely accepted model, by which you can purchase the right to use a vacation resort for a given week or weeks every year. The major advantage is that it costs you only a fraction of the cost of fully owning the property. The resort management takes care of the day-to-day maintenance and the costs for this upkeep are shared among all such part owners. Most of the timeshares are condominium resorts but as the concept is catching on, it is being applied to houseboats, yachts, cruises etc. as well. Many large hotel and resort chains have entered this sector, enhancing the quality of the timeshare vacation model.

Timeshares are generally sold as weeks – either fixed or floating. As the name suggests, the fixed week ownership gives you a fixed time each year at your home resort. The floating week system is more flexible where you buy weeks in a particular season, from which you choose your preferred weeks in advance. The more recent points system is another form of timeshare ownership where you buy a given number of points, to be used like money to buy time at a resort of your choice.

You can buy timeshares as deeded or right to use contracts. The former allow you to use the property for a given number of weeks and are sold as fractional ownership. Right to use contracts give you ownership for a limited period after which all rights revert to the property owner.

To break the monotony of spending vacations at your home resort, you can also exchange your weeks for equivalent stay at another resort. All you need to do is deposit your timeshare week with a reputed exchange company to be exchanged for use at a later date in a different resort. If you decide not to go on vacation in a particular year, you can club the weeks for that year with that of the next year or if you wish to extend your vacation, you can also borrow from the coming years!!

You not only can use the timeshares yourself, you may even rent, gift, sell or will it to anybody you wish. There are many companies that help you buy, sell or rent timeshares, and most of them host Internet websites.

The flexibility afforded by timeshares has made it one of the fastest growing sectors of the holiday industry and is set to become the way the world vacations in future!!

In my experience, one of the downsides of vacationing overseas is that, with the “trip” generally being relatively short, you can only scratch at the surface of that countries culture.
Especially if you are travelling on a “party” visit, arranged by a travel agent or on some kind of “package” deal, the company who organizes everything for you tends to decide where you will go and what you will see when you get there.

Absolutely nothing wrong with this, of course, as it takes an awful lot of planning to organize everything yourself before travelling, and having most of the decisions already made before arrival definitely reduces the potential for stressful family disagreements. You know the kind of thing – you want to go to see the ancient castle, whilst junior wants to go to the fun park – a nightmare waiting to happen.

But nevertheless, by travelling “packaged”, you do tend to miss out on having any opportunity of really getting to grips with the culture of the country you are visiting, and interacting with the people.
In my experience, the culture and nature of a people is reflected in nothing better than the cuisine of that country, in the food they eat. What people eat literally builds them from the day they are born, it makes them, it is what they are!

So, here’s an idea for your next European vacation that will enable you to get to “the heart” of one of Europe’s most historically significant cultures in the most enjoyable way imaginable.
Think of the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) and you think of sunshine, maybe bullfighting, red wine, and siesta time. Both countries also have very impressive historical heritages also, having both rules over large chunks of the planet at some time in their past.
Ever thought of bacalhau and vino verde? No? Well, now is the time to start.

Bacalhau is dried, salted cod, whose origins date to the 14th century and which is the national dish of Portugal (and absolutely delicious as well!).
How about learning to make it and immersing yourself in the true culture of one of the most welcoming and entrancing countries in Europe at the same time, by enrolling for a weeks cooking course at The Refúgio da Vila Cooking School? saranjan.com/portugalcooking.htm/ saranjan.com/portugalcooking.htm/.
Situated in a small town outside Évora, in the heart of the The Alentejo Region of Portugal, stretching from the Lisbon in the North to the Algarve in the South, the school is located in a beautiful, unspoiled Vila manor house with pool and numerous patios. Guests can relax in elegant rooms between lessons which are conducted in a superb kitchen and take time off to tour the unspoiled countryside. The schools program can accommodate non-cooking guests as well, for those who are just happy to eat Portuguese food, rather than make it!
Portuguese cuisine is simple, characterized by a rich variety of regional dishes. Of course, the most famous national dish is bacalhau, but there is so much more. Gathering herbs and produce from the local markets and pairing them to timeless recipes, cooks of all levels can roll up their sleeves in the Vila kitchen and prepare a variety of succulent Mediterranean dishes influenced by this rich region.
Running from Sunday to Sunday, the course offers not only the chance to prepare and cook dishes that are probably unlike anything you have ever made or even tasted before, but to totally immerse yourself in the true heart of the culture of traditional Europe.
